These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Climtopia (the "App"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Climtopia account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Community Standards — Zero Tolerance Policy

Climtopia has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to:

Harassment, threats, or abusive conduct directed at other users
Hate speech, discrimination, or content that promotes violence
Sexually explicit or exploitative content
Spam, impersonation, or fraudulent accounts
Any content that is illegal or infringes on the rights of others

To help enforce this policy, Climtopia provides:

A mechanism to report objectionable content or abusive users
A mechanism to block other users, which immediately removes their content from your view
A commitment to review reports and take action — including content removal and account termination — within 24 hours

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates this policy, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Climtopia (climb logs, photos, profile information, etc.). By submitting content, you grant Climtopia a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and store that content solely for the purpose of operating the App.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not post content that violates the Community Standards above or any applicable law.

5. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the Community Standards above, you agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or Climtopia's systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App without permission

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from within the App or by contacting us.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Climtopia does not guarantee the accuracy of grading information, route data, or any other content within the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

Climbing is an inherently risky activity. Climtopia is a logging and community tool only — it does not provide instruction, certification, or safety guidance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Climtopia is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the App or from climbing activities logged within it.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
